Hallparty Experience

The project looks at re-designing the webspace for an already existing social media app for college GenZ college students. It all started with a little chat and bouncing back ideas over google meet with Rahul Chabra, about how the social media space is becoming less fun especially post pandemic. This led us to enter into the whole field of researching and brainstorming how to make the existing webapp experience better and more reachable.

The process started by researching out what GenZ liked in social media and how they wanted their digital presence be. This in turn formed triggers to deep dive into colors and mood boards they preferred This was followed by user journey mapping of the existing webapp based on Nielsen's heuristics principles to find out what the users were missing out on their journey. This was followed by sessions of HMW to solve these problem. Upon developing the HMWs we sat together to perform crazy 8s and got some ideas o which we developed initial layouts an wireframes. Upon testing these wireframes out , we moved ahead to form the design language and systems, and ultimately the final prototype. This was followed by a layer of micro interaction and sound interaction to make the platform more engaging and memorable for users.

At this moment the project is under development and I won’t be able to share any visuals about research and final fidelity design on public platforms due to Non disclosure Agreement with Hallparty. I would love to share my process and learnings over a call.
